A chiropractic media day is a planned session, usually a few hours, when a videographer or photographer films your clinic, your team and your doctor in one go, and the footage becomes a month or more of posts. Done-for-you video skips the shoot: a company builds the videos from what you already have, and you approve the scripts.
Neither is better by default. They ask different things of your time, and they suit different jobs. We are ChiroVant, the team behind 183 films built for chiropractic clinics, and we make the second kind, so we have tried to describe both fairly.

What Is a Chiropractic Media Day?
It is a chiropractic photo shoot and video shoot in one block of time at your clinic. A chiropractic media day usually covers the outside of the building, the front desk, the treatment rooms, the team, and the doctor explaining a few services on camera. The footage is then edited into posts over the following weeks.

The strength of a chiropractic media day is that everything is real: your room, your team, your doctor's own voice. The cost is time, and it falls in three places:
- Before the day: a shot list, a few talking points per service, and a time when patients are not in the shots.
- On the day: the doctor and team on camera for a few hours, in clothes that match your brand.
- After the day: someone edits, captions and schedules the footage, a month or more at a time.
What Does a Media Day Ask of Your Clinic?
Time on camera, a cleared schedule and agreement from everyone in the shots. The doctor has to be comfortable speaking to a lens, the team has to agree to appear, and patients are best kept out of the shots, or asked for written permission first. For a busy clinic, finding the day can be the hardest part.

It also gives you something done-for-you video cannot: real photos of your own clinic. Google's Business Profile photo guidelines, checked on October 15, 2026, ask that "the image should represent reality," and Google's tips for posting media to Maps say to "use media that you captured." A chiropractic media day gives you photos like that for your profile.
Our guide to Google Business Profile posts covers where those real photos do the most work.
What Does Done-for-You Video Ask of You?
Mostly approvals. A done-for-you company writes the scripts, you check that each one says what your clinic would say, and the finished videos arrive ready to post. Nobody has to be on camera, and nothing at the clinic has to stop for a shoot, which is why it suits clinics that cannot find an open day.

Ask how the videos are made. Some companies edit stock footage, some film elsewhere, and some, like us, build videos with AI from your website and branding. YouTube's help page on disclosing AI content, checked on October 15, 2026, says creators must disclose content that "generates a realistic scene that didn't actually occur." So ask which parts of each video are AI-made.

Choose by the job. A chiropractic media day suits real photos for Google, a doctor who wants to be seen and heard, and anything that has to show your own room. Done-for-you video suits a steady weekly feed when nobody has time to film. You can also use both: one shoot for real photos, and done-for-you videos every week.

- Pick a media day if the doctor enjoys being on camera, you want real photos for your Google profile and website, or you need to show your own space and team.
- Pick done-for-you video if nobody can stop for a shoot, you want new videos every week, or you want each video about one service with captions and a clear call to book.
- Use both if you can: a media day once or twice a year for real photos, and done-for-you videos in between to keep the feed moving.

How Does ChiroVant Fit Next to a Media Day?
We are the done-for-you side. We focus on branding and content creation for organic growth: short branded videos for your clinic's own pages, built from your website, your services and your branding, with nothing to film. Our films are made with AI, not filmed at your clinic, so a media day still has its place.

On Essential, you get four films a month and a posting calendar, and you post them. On Growth, we post eight a month for you on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube once you have approved them. On every pack, you approve every script before anything is made, and each film carries captions burned in one or two words at a time, with a spoken call to action that names your doctor as the one to call. If you hold a media day as well, its real photos work well on your Google profile and website, alongside our films on your social pages. The full details are on our packs page.
