National Chiropractic Health Month 2026: A Clinic's October Plan

National Chiropractic Health Month runs from October 1 to 31, and the American Chiropractic Association's theme for 2026 is "Joint Efforts." For a clinic, it is a ready-made reason to post every week of the month, and World Spine Day on Friday, October 16, gives you a second date inside it.

We are ChiroVant, and our count so far is 183 films built for chiropractic clinics. This guide covers what the 2026 campaign is, what you can use from the ACA toolkit without being a member, how to use World Spine Day, and what to post each week of October.

October 2026 calendar: National Chiropractic Health Month runs all month, and World Spine Day falls on Friday, October 16

What Is National Chiropractic Health Month 2026?

National Chiropractic Health Month is the ACA's yearly nationwide campaign, held each October to raise public awareness of chiropractic care. The 2026 theme, "Joint Efforts," was announced on May 20, 2026. The ACA says the campaign will focus on the importance of joint health over a lifetime and on what people can do to support mobility.

The ACA's Joint Efforts campaign toolkit page, with the hashtag #JointEfforts

The ACA's theme announcement says the campaign covers "steps people can take to support mobility, joint function and overall musculoskeletal health." Its campaign toolkit asks clinics to use the hashtag #JointEfforts, and says the ACA may share posts that use it with its wider community. That is a small but real reason to use the hashtag on every October post.

This plan is built for unpaid posts on your own pages. If one of your National Chiropractic Health Month films draws comments and shares, our chiropractic video ads playbook covers putting it in front of more local people.

What Can My Clinic Use From the ACA Toolkit Without Being a Member?

More than most owners expect. When we checked the toolkit page on September 26, 2026, the sample promotional plan, the proclamation guide, the key messages, a logo file and three graphics could be downloaded without a login. The sample press release, the social media graphics and pre-written posts, further infographics and the patient handouts were marked members only.

The logo is meant to be used: the ACA's quick-start guide, published September 22, 2026, tells clinics that are short on time to "Post the NCHM logo on Oct. 1." Beyond what the toolkit offers, the ACA's terms of use say its logos, graphics and images may not be copied unless the ACA permits it, so use the toolkit's own files and never copy members-only material you have not been given. The open promotional plan also says the ACA will post graphics and blog posts during the month that clinics can repost, so follow its channels before October 1.

A proclamation from your town or county is a local news hook that names your community. The ACA's guide says to begin at least 4 to 8 weeks before October, so a request made now may land late in the month. Ask anyway, and keep the contact for next year.

How Should My Clinic Use World Spine Day on October 16?

Post on the day itself, and make it about a question your patients actually ask. The World Federation of Chiropractic has coordinated World Spine Day on October 16 since 2008, and its 2026 campaign is "Spine Health for Life." In 2026 the date falls on a Friday, so plan the post for that morning.

The World Spine Day 2026 resources page already has a 2026 resource toolkit, a press release and a proclamation template, so you can plan the day now. The World Federation of Chiropractic also runs a yearly World Spine Day competition for chiropractors who organize events in their communities, and publishes the 2026 competition details on its page. If you already run a talk, a workplace visit or a school event in October, that page is worth reading.

Keep the day's post simple: one short film or carousel, the campaign name, and a plain invitation to ask a question. Leave the health claims to the doctor's own words, and keep them to what the doctor would say in the treatment room.

Why Does a Named Month Help a Clinic's Marketing?

Because people check a clinic before they call, and recent, specific posts are part of what they find. Kyruus Health's 2024 Care Access Benchmark Report for Healthcare Organizations found that 52% of consumers consult three or more online resources when searching for care. National Chiropractic Health Month gives you a weekly reason to be one of those resources.

The campaign does three jobs a normal month does not. It gives every post a reason to exist, so you are not inventing topics. It connects your clinic to something bigger than your clinic, through the hashtag and the proclamation. And it gives your front desk something to mention at check-out, which gives patients a reason to look for your posts and share them. The Kyruus report is about healthcare consumers in general, not chiropractic patients, but the habit it describes is the one your page has to meet.

What Should My Clinic Post Each Week of October?

For National Chiropractic Health Month, one film and one carousel or static post a week is enough for most clinics, published on the same days each week. Build each week around one question patients ask, let the doctor choose the tips, and end every post with how to book. The plan below starts on Thursday, October 1.

Parts of the ACA's own promotional plan lean on members-only items, such as the sample press release and the patient handouts. This plan runs on your own films, so it works whether or not you are a member.

If you can film once, our guide to content marketing for chiropractors shows how one recording session covers a month. For more topics, see our chiropractic social media post ideas, and for the limits of any feed, what social media can and cannot do for a clinic.

How Would We Build Your National Chiropractic Health Month Films?

One or two films a week, each about one service or the clinic itself, with your clinic's name, town and phone on screen. We write the scripts, and you approve every one before we produce anything. Essential is four films a month you post; Growth is eight, two a week, posted for you once you approve them.

The films are built to work on a muted phone. Captions are burned into the picture one or two words at a time, the logo sits in a corner, and every film ends by naming your doctor as the one to call, with your logo and phone number on the end card. Films explain what your clinic offers, never a promised result, and on every pack nothing goes out until you approve it.

If your waiting room already has a screen, the same films can loop on it with the sound off; our guide to chiropractic patient education videos covers the player and the screen's shape. The full list of what each pack includes is on our packs page.

Your next step takes an afternoon. Download the open items from the ACA toolkit, ask your town or county about a proclamation, and put five dates in the calendar, starting Thursday, October 1. National Chiropractic Health Month does the rest of the explaining for you.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    FAQs About Social Media

It runs for all of October 2026, from Thursday, October 1 to Saturday, October 31. The American Chiropractic Association holds National Chiropractic Health Month each October, and it announced the 2026 theme, "Joint Efforts," on May 20, 2026. That is four full weeks plus three days, enough for five weekly posting blocks if you start on October 1.

No. The toolkit page, checked on September 26, 2026, had a sample promotional plan, a proclamation guide, key messages, logos and three graphics open without a login, and it labels the three graphics as available to non-members. The sample press release, the social media graphics and pre-written posts, further infographics and the patient handouts are for members. Read the ACA's terms of use before reusing its logos or graphics.

The ACA's 2026 toolkit asks clinics to use #JointEfforts, and says the association may share posts that use it with its wider community. Add your town's name and your clinic's own name in the caption too, because the campaign hashtag reaches the profession and your local words reach the people who can actually book.

They are separate campaigns that overlap. World Spine Day is coordinated by the World Federation of Chiropractic every year on October 16, and its 2026 campaign is "Spine Health for Life." National Chiropractic Health Month is the American Chiropractic Association's October campaign. Using both gives a clinic one month-long theme and one fixed date inside it.

Promises. A month about joint health invites posts that say what care will fix, and outcome claims can conflict with state board advertising rules and platform policies. Show what happens at your clinic, let the doctor give general tips in their own words, use testimonials only with written consent and only where your state board allows them, and end every post with how to book rather than what will improve.
